Welcome to the online home of Vanaheim Fellowship!

Vanaheim Fellowship was founded in October of 2009 as a devotional community dedicated to the honor of the Vanir Gods and practice of Vanatru - the Vanic side of Heathenry.  The Vanir are the Northern European Gods of nature, and the fertility, health, and prosperity that comes with living in balance with nature.  For most of the 30+ years of the Heathen revival, there has been a lot of emphasis on the Aesir Gods, namely Thor and Odin.  Thus, there needs to be a safe, sane place for those who are Vanatru, or open to exploring the Vanir cultus, who are serious about productive discussions and thus growing individually and giving encouragement and challenge to the group as a whole.

Vanaheim Fellowship is dedicated to this effort, and as such is a real community.  We are not now, nor will we ever be, a national organization.  We currently have nine members located in the United States and Europe.  Membership in Vanaheim Fellowship is by invite only, to keep a safe space and the charge the Gods have given us.  Living in right relationships with the Gods, wights, ancestors, and Land matters to us - not politics, power games, and drama. 

Besides fulfilling the needs of the membership of our own community, we hope to provide information based in our collective experiences that will educate and inspire the general Heathen and Pagan public, as well as set a trend with encouraging others to start their own devotional communities that focus on worship of the Gods and provide a place of spiritual support for its membership.
